This is the May Tree "Maibaum," an effort of the Adolf Hitler School and the art education and work service.

This is a self-portrait of an 18 year old student at the AHS (Adolf Hitler Schule). All students at the AHS were required to be members of the HJ. There is some black and green remnants on the back of the card, probably from when it was in an album. This is an unusual and interesting postcard.

This postcard shows a drawing of Baldur von Schirah, the National Youth Leader (and leader of the Hitler Youth) until Axmann took over in 1940.

This postcard shows two HJ leaders, one in a formal tunic. On the back is some kind of red ink stamp dated 21 September 1938 that says something about staying free. I expect it is a reference to Hitler having taken over Austria.
